Fall Marathon: Buddy Trek

For the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Bramblin—if you’re lucky!

You may encounter Bramblin when you complete GO Pass tasks or use Incense.

Starting with Fall Marathon: Buddy Trek, you’ll be able to increase Mega Manectric’s Mega Level all the way up to Super Max Level for the first time in Pokémon GO!

At Super Max Level, Mega Manectric gains a new Charged Attack: Discharge+ (50 power in Trainer Battles, 150 power in Raid Battles). The power of this attack increases with the Pokémon’s Mega Level.

You must first increase Manectric’s Mega Level to the third level, Max, before you can increase it further to Super Max. Both require Manectric Mega Energy.

You may encounter event-themed Pokémon in the wild, including Ponyta, Doduo, Electrike, Blitzle, and Skarmory. If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one!

Event-themed Pokémon appear more frequently near Incense during two consecutive windows. If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one!

Spin Photo Discs at PokéStops during the event to find event-themed Field Research tasks. Completing them can earn encounters with event-themed Pokémon, including Doduo, Electrike, and Bramblin, plus Manectric Mega Energy or Rare Candy.

A GO Pass is a free, limited-time progression track. Collect GO Points to increase your rank and earn rewards.

• Trainers automatically receive GO Pass: Fall Marathon on Tuesday, October 13 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
• Collect GO Points and rank up through Monday, October 19, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
• Rewards unlocked in the GO Pass expire on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time — claim them before they’re gone.
