GO Fest 2025: Max Finale

Eternatmax Eternatus will take over the majority of Power Spots during Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Max Finale.

While Trainers will not be able to catch Eternamax Eternatus after defeating it in Max Battles, they will earn a large amount of Eternatus Candy and Eternatus Candy XL, which can be used to power up the Eternatus they can catch via GO Pass: Max Finale.

In addition to Eternamax Eternatus, all Gigantamax Pokémon that have appeared in Pokémon GO may appear at Power Spots.

The following Pokémon will appear in Max Battles on the following schedule more frequently than other Gigantamax Pokémon.

Saturday, August 23

• 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.: Gigantamax Lapras*
• 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Gigantamax Snorlax*
• 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Gigantamax Gengar*
• 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.: Gigantamax Inteleon
• 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.: Gigantamax Venusaur*
• 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Gigantamax Machamp*
• 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.: Gigantamax Toxtricity (Amped Form)*

Sunday, August 24

• 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.: Gigantamax Rillaboom
• 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Gigantamax Charizard*

All Dynamax Pokémon that have appeared in Pokémon GO may also appear at a Power Spot, but it will be less likely.

The following Pokémon will appear in Five-Star Raids.

GO Pass: Max Finale will enhance the power of Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta, so Trainers can more quickly slash and bash their way through Max Battles and progress even faster through the GO Pass.

The following Pokémon will appear in Three-Star Raids.

The following Pokémon will appear in One-Star Raids.

The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild.

Timed Research focused on powering up Pokémon and defeating Eternamax Eternatus will be available throughout the event!

Complete the research tasks to earn Candy XL, Max Particles, and more!

The following Pokémon will be available to encounter when you complete event-themed Field Research tasks!

Complete certain Field Research tasks to earn Zacian Candy, Zamazenta Candy, and Eternatus Candy.

• Trainers will automatically receive GO Pass: Max Finale on August 18 at 10:00 a.m.
• Earn GO Points to rank up and unlock rewards until August 24 at 9:00 p.m.
• During the Dark Skies event (Aug 18–22), GO Points can be collected up to a daily cap.
• No daily cap on GO Points from Saturday, August 23 at 12:00 a.m. to Sunday, August 24 at 9:00 p.m.

GO Pass Deluxe: Max Finale

• Paid upgrade version of the GO Pass: Max Finale.
• Includes all rewards from both the free and Deluxe GO Passes.
• Can be upgraded at any time — previously unlocked rewards will still be available.

Note: All GO Pass: Max Finale rewards must be claimed by Tuesday, August 26, at 9:00 p.m. local time.
