Starting Monday, July 14, 2025, at 6:00 a.m. local time, a free Timed Research will be available to Trainers.
Complete the research to encounter Dynamax Passimian and strengthen your battle team for the Gigantamax Lapras challenge! You'll also earn Passimian Candy, Max Particles, and more rewards along the way.
Note: This Timed Research expires. All tasks must be completed and rewards claimed by Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. local time.

For US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you can access event-exclusive Timed Research.
Timed Research rewards include:

About Max Battle Day
Max Battle Day is a special event where certain Dyna- or Gigantamax Pokémon are available in Max Battles for several hours. Players can catch these Pokémon and often enjoy increased Shiny rates. During the event, more Max Particles can be collected and various other bonuses are usually active.
