Around The Green at Boxpark in Shoreditch, London, free Timed Research is available inside the mapped event area on August 1–2 and August 8–9, 10:00 a.m.–11:59 p.m. local time. Open Pokémon GO in the area to receive it; once obtained, you have until August 31 to complete it.
Free coffee: complete the first stage, then show your progress to the barista at the pop-up coffee station (first-come, first-served, open 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. on the event days).
Meet the creators: Miniminter and Chunkz appear at the pop-up on August 1, 3:00–4:00 p.m.
Grand prize: a five-night hotel stay for two in Japan (including flights). Complete the local Timed Research, use the in-game "What's Your Favorite?" feature, and share your post on Instagram with #pokemongosummerquest by August 31. Entrants must be 18+.
Can't make it to London? From August 1, 10:00 a.m. until August 9, 11:59 p.m. local time, Trainers across the UK automatically receive a free Summer Quest Timed Research on the Events tab. Once obtained, you have until August 31 to complete it.
Grand prize: a trip for two to Pokémon GO Fest 2027 in Europe (round-trip flights + a three-night hotel stay). Complete the nationwide Timed Research, use "What's Your Favorite?", and share your post with #pokemongosummerquest by August 31.
Summer Quest is a free-research and prize celebration — no wild spawns, Raids or Shiny debuts have been announced for it. You can take part in both the local and nationwide Timed Research, but each Trainer can win only one grand prize across the two draws.
