Pokémon GO City Safari: Boston

Special Pokémon will appear in the wild throughout Boston during the event. Keep an eye out for Unown B, L, M, and R, too. If you're lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one!

You'll be able to encounter Mudbray, the Donkey Pokémon! Mudbray currently only appears during Pokémon GO City Safari 2025 and 2026 events, but it may appear worldwide at a later date. If you're lucky, you may even encounter a Shiny Mudbray!

Eevee seems ready for a big adventure! Encounter an Eevee wearing an explorer hat through the City Safari Stamp Rally and Special Research.

Use 25 Eevee Candy to evolve an Eevee wearing an explorer hat into Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, or Sylveon — each wearing a matching explorer hat. Evolving an Eevee wearing an explorer hat is the only way to obtain these costumed Evolutions. If you're lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one!

The City Safari Stamp Rally replaces this event's previous Timed Research. Once you enter the citywide gameplay area, you can collect up to eight stamps at participating PokéStops.

For each stamp, you'll get an encounter with Eevee wearing an explorer hat — and if you're lucky, it may be Shiny! The Stamp Rally can be completed once per day during event hours.

The following Pokémon will hatch from 7 km Eggs collected during the event. If you're lucky, you may hatch a Shiny one!
