• Team GO Rocket Grunts appear more often at PokéStops
• Team GO Rocket Balloons appear more often (typically every two hours)
• Team GO Rocket Leaders Sierra, Cliff and Arlo deploy different Shadow Pokémon than usual
• Giovanni encounters can be triggered at PokéStops with a Super Rocket Radar

Defeat Team GO Rocket Grunts to encounter and rescue these Shadow Pokémon for the first time. If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny one!

Earn a Super Rocket Radar through the GO Pass: Flying Taxi progression and use it to find Giovanni at PokéStops.

Defeat Giovanni to encounter Shadow Reshiram, the primary objective of this event. If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny one!

During this event you can use a Charged TM to help a Shadow Pokémon forget the Charged Attack Frustration. This applies to all eligible Shadow Pokémon in your collection, including legacy catches.

One-star and three-star Shadow Raid Pokémon caught during this event will have wider variance of Attack, Defense and HP.
