  • Tokyo
  • Chicago
  • Copenhagen

Get ready for a global Pokémon GO adventure unlike any other!

Mega Mewtwo debuts

Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y will make their Pokémon GO debuts during Pokémon GO Fest 2026.

For the first time in Pokémon GO, Trainers will be able to encounter and battle Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y, the Mega Evolutions of the Genetic Pokémon Mewtwo.

Mega-Evolved Pokémon Debuts

More Mega-Evolved Pokémon debuts are on the way.

Keep an eye out for upcoming Mega Raid Days throughout the Forever Forward season, where additional Mega-Evolved Pokémon will make their Pokémon GO debuts.

Max Pokémon Debuts

New Dynamax Pokémon will arrive in Max Battles throughout the Season.

Dynamax Electabuzz, Dynamax Magikarp, Dynamax Feebas, and additional Dynamax Pokémon will begin appearing at Power Spots during the Forever Forward season.

Be sure to check Max Battles regularly for opportunities to encounter newly released Dynamax Pokémon.

Daily Discoveries

Daily Discoveries will continue throughout the Forever Forward season.

Different days of the week will feature unique Daily Discovery experiences, giving Trainers new opportunities and bonuses throughout the season.

Unless otherwise stated, Daily Discoveries will be active from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time.

The Daily Discovery lineup and bonuses will be updated for the Forever Forward season. As Niantic continues to experiment and improve the feature, Daily Discoveries may change over time.

Stay tuned for details on the specific Daily Discoveries available each day of the week.

* Please note that Daily Discoveries will not be available during the week of the global GO Fest, GO Wild Area, and GO Tour events.

Sunday

Double-Time Sunday will be replaced by Scenic Sunday during the Forever Forward season.

Scenic Sunday focuses on Routes and rewards Trainers for exploring while following them.

  • More Pokémon will appear while following a Route
  • Incense will attract even more Pokémon while used on Routes
  • Reduced distance required to earn Buddy Candy while exploring Routes with your Buddy Pokémon
  • Mateo can be encountered up to three times per day while on a Route

This makes Sundays a stronger day for Route exploration, Buddy Candy progress, and Mateo encounters.

Monday

Fast-Track Monday will be removed during the Forever Forward season, but Max Mondays will continue.

Max Mondays will keep the following bonuses:

  • Power Spots will refresh more frequently
  • Additional Power Spots will be active on Mondays compared to the rest of the week
  • Max Battles will rotate to feature different Dynamax Pokémon

Max Battles will be available from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time. Power Spot availability will be limited outside of Max Mondays and Max Battle Days.

Tuesday

Showcase Tuesday is getting a new bonus during the Forever Forward season.

On Showcase Tuesdays, Trainers will be able to enter up to five PokéStop Showcases at the same time, giving more opportunities to compete for top placements and earn rewards.

GO Pass will be available throughout the Forever Forward season.

GO Pass is a limited-time progression track that allows Trainers to complete Pass Tasks, earn GO Points, increase their rank, and unlock rewards.
