GO Pass: January

Trainers will automatically receive GO Pass: January on Tuesday, January 6, at 10:00 a.m. local time. You can collect GO Points and rank up to earn rewards until Tuesday, February 3, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

From Saturday, January 31, at 12:00 a.m. to Sunday, February 1, at 11:59 p.m. local time, there will be no daily limit on how many GO Points you can earn.

For US$7.99, Trainers can upgrade to GO Pass Deluxe, which offers upgraded rewards and faster progression. For US$9.99, Trainers can upgrade to GO Pass Deluxe + 10 Ranks, instantly earning enough GO Points to reach Rank 11.

You can upgrade to GO Pass Deluxe at any time and still claim rewards from previously unlocked ranks. While progressing, you’ll receive rewards from both the free GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe.

All rewards unlocked through the GO Pass will expire on Thursday, February 5, at 10:00 a.m. local time, so be sure to claim them before they’re gone. All prices listed are in USD or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency.

Your GO Pass Deluxe purchased via the Pokémon GO Web Store will activate automatically as soon as the GO Pass begins.

Trainers who upgrade to GO Pass Deluxe: January or GO Pass Deluxe: January + 10 Ranks on the Pokémon GO Web Store will receive the following items as a bonus:

• 10 Ultra Balls
• 5 Max Revives
• 1 Premium Battle Pass
• 5 Max Potions

The Lucky Trinket returns as the final reward in this month’s GO Pass Deluxe.

A Lucky Trinket is a one-time-use item that lets you turn one friend from your Friend List into a Lucky Friend. Once used, both you and the selected friend immediately become Lucky Friends—even if you are not Best Friends yet.

When you trade while Lucky Friends, both Pokémon will become Lucky Pokémon. After the trade, the Lucky Friend status is cleared.

The Lucky Trinket earned through GO Pass: January is temporary and will expire on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. local time, regardless of when it is claimed.

Important details

• You must be at least Great Friends with the Trainer you use the Lucky Trinket on
• You cannot use a Lucky Trinket on a Trainer you are already Lucky Friends with
• Using a Lucky Trinket does not change the trade distance requirement
• You can disable receiving Lucky Trinkets from other Trainers in your Settings
