GO Pass: August

From Tuesday, August 5, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, September 2, at 10:00 a.m. local time, the free GO Pass: August is available to all Trainers. By collecting GO Points, you can increase your rank and unlock various rewards.

During the weekend of Saturday, August 30, at 12:00 a.m. through Sunday, August 31, at 11:59 p.m. local time, there will be no daily limit on how many GO Points you can earn!

For faster progress and upgraded rewards, there’s also a paid version: the GO Pass Deluxe. This version grants access to all rewards from both the free GO Pass and the Deluxe track. You can upgrade at any time and still claim rewards from previously unlocked ranks.

Note: GO Pass rewards will expire on Thursday, September 4, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Make sure to claim them before they’re gone!

The GO Pass Deluxe, the paid version of the GO Pass, is now available through the Pokémon GO Web Store! Any GO Pass Deluxe purchased via the Web Store will activate automatically once the GO Pass: August begins.

Trainers who purchase the GO Pass Deluxe: August or the GO Pass Deluxe: August + 10 Ranks will receive a special bonus: 10 Ultra Balls, five Max Revives, one Premium Battle Pass, and five Max Potions.

The Lucky Trinket is back as the final reward in this month’s GO Pass Deluxe: August!

A Lucky Trinket is a one-time-use item that allows you to turn one friend from your Friend List into a Lucky Friend—even if you’re not Best Friends yet! Once used, both you and your chosen friend will become Lucky Friends. The next time you trade with that friend, both Pokémon involved will become Lucky Pokémon, and your Lucky Friend status will reset after the trade.

Important: The Lucky Trinket earned through the GO Pass Deluxe: August will expire on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. local time, regardless of when it was claimed. Make sure to use it before then!

Additional details:

• You must be at least Great Friends with the Trainer you want to use the Lucky Trinket on.
• You cannot use a Lucky Trinket on someone you are currently Lucky Friends with.
• Using a Lucky Trinket does not affect trade distance.
• If you prefer not to receive Lucky Trinkets, you can disable this option in your Settings.
