What is Hyper Training?

Hyper Training allows Trainers to boost a Pokémon’s HP, Attack, and Defense stats. To begin, earn a Gold Bottle Cap by completing the Deluxe GO Pass. Then, use the item to start training one of your Pokémon—just make sure it’s at least a Good Buddy!

About Gold Bottle Caps

• One-time use item required for Hyper Training
• Available exclusively by completing GO Pass Deluxe: Ancients Recovered
• Must be used before Sunday, July 6, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. local time

When starting Hyper Training, you’ll be able to choose which stat(s) to focus on. Given how rare Gold Bottle Caps are, choose your trainee wisely!

Training Tasks by Stat

Once you’ve used your Gold Bottle Cap, you’ll have 365 days to complete Hyper Training tasks. Each stat has its own task theme:

• Attack: Battle with your trainee while it's your Buddy
• Defense: Strengthen your bond by playing, exploring, and catching Pokémon together
• HP: Explore with your Buddy—spin PokéStops, earn Buddy Candy, and more

It’s a long-term challenge, but with dedication, your Pokémon will emerge stronger than ever!
