Monday features an extended Raid Hour from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time. If you're lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one — Dialga, Solgaleo, Lunala and both Enamorus formes do not have Shiny forms available.

Some Legendary Pokémon are only available in specific regions — see the Regional Raids list below.

A different Mega-Evolved Pokémon headlines Mega Raids each day from Monday to Thursday.

Super Mega Raids — During Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global

Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y debut in Super Mega Raids during Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global on July 11–12, 2026.

Every Mewtwo caught from these Super Mega Raids will have at least one Mega Level already unlocked, with no initial Energy cost, and a higher chance of high Attack, Defense and HP. Mewtwo caught with a Special Background show special visual effects when Mega-Evolved.

Shiny Mega Mewtwo X and Shiny Mega Mewtwo Y are available — if you're lucky, you may encounter one!

New Pokémon Backgrounds Debut

New Pokémon Backgrounds debut during the event!

From Monday, July 6 to Sunday, July 12, 2026, Pokémon caught from five-star Raids, Primal Raids and Mega Raids may be caught with a special Background that appears on the Pokémon's summary page — similar to the location-based Backgrounds from in-person events. Mewtwo caught with a Special Background show special visual effects when Mega-Evolved.
