The following Pokémon first discovered in the Paldea region will make their Pokémon GO debut! You might find one in Eggs or via the GO Pass.

A new costumed Pokémon will also appear during this event:

• Pikachu wearing a marathon visor**

* You can use 50 Flittle Candy to evolve Flittle into Espathra.

** If you're lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one.

The following Pokémon will hatch from 5 km Eggs:

• Pichu wearing a flower crown*
• Togepi wearing a flower crown*
• Happiny wearing a flower crown*
• Flittle

* If you're lucky, you may hatch a Shiny one!

Event-themed Field Research tasks will be available during this event.

Complete Field Research tasks to earn encounters with event-themed Pokémon, including:

• Eevee adorned with cherry blossoms
• Buneary wearing a flower crown
• And more!

A free Timed Research opportunity will be available during this event.

Timed Research rewards include:

• 21,000 XP
• An encounter with Pikachu wearing a marathon visor

A GO Pass is a free, limited-time progression track available during a specified period. By collecting GO Points, you can increase your rank to earn rewards.

Trainers will automatically receive GO Pass: Spring Marathon on Tuesday, May 12 at 10:00 a.m. local time. You can collect GO Points and rank up to earn additional rewards through Monday, May 18, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. local time.
